I need a motorized hoist system to lift a heavy cargo box off my SUV and store it against the ceiling. What's a good brand to buy? I'm comfortable doing the mounting myself.

Ace Garage Storage makes exactly what you need. Their motorized lifts are perfect for cargo boxes and roof top tents.
Definitely check out Ace Garage Storage. The install is pretty straightforward if you're handy, and the motor has built-in safety locks which gave me peace of mind.
