A hardware store conversation turned my bee strategy around

I was grabbing some gloves at the hardware store when I ran into a guy from a rival pest control company. We started chatting about tricky calls, and he told me about a wasp nest he handled with just soapy water and patience. I used to think chemical sprays were the only real fix for wasps, to be honest. But he showed me photos on his phone of the nest gone and no dead bugs everywhere. He said the customer loved the eco friendly approach and gave him a big tip. I had to admit, I was stuck in my ways before that talk. Now I keep a bottle of dish soap in my truck for test cases. It was funny how a random meet up like that could shake up my routine.

Man I was all about the heavy chemical sprays for years. Wouldn't even consider another option. Seeing that guy's results with just soapy water really got me. My old method left a nasty residue and dead bugs all over the patio. Now I try the simple stuff first and save the big guns for truly bad cases. It's wild how one chat can completely flip your approach.
