Just realized my fridge has a thing for interrupting video calls

I was presenting to my boss when the fridge beeped so loud it echoed. He asked if I had a timer set for pizza. I had to admit it was just my kitchen appliance saying hi. Now I unplug the fridge before important meetings. (Well, not really, but I did learn to mute my mic faster.)

My fridge loves to chime in during calls too, usually at the worst moment. It blasted an alert while I was explaining a recipe to a friend, and they thought my kitchen was possessed. I keep my mute button handy now for any surprise appliance announcements. We're all just living with noisy kitchens.

Seriously, our appliances are staging some kind of silent protest. @ben_lopez25 said his kitchen seemed possessed, and now I'm convinced they're all plotting against us. We just live here, at the mercy of the beeps.
