A chance meeting in Barcelona gave me a side gig idea
Met a guy who makes MONEY by creating custom city guides for tourists. Now I'm thinking of doing the SAME for my hometown!

Wait, you're telling me there are still hidden spots in your hometown you haven't found? That's wild to me. @fionarodriguez makes a good point about food tours being one thing, but a whole written guide sounds impossible to keep straight. Even as a local, I find new places or hear about old ones closing every month. How do you even start tracking all that without it becoming a full time job?

Wait, @fionarodriguez I see your point with food tours, but a full written guide is a different beast. You have to find all the hidden spots and keep everything updated, which is a ton of work. I tried making one for visitors last year and gave up because places close or change their hours all the time.

Custom city guides are a great idea, I did something like that with local food tours last summer.
