Found a Geocities page from 1997 that still has a working guestbook
Was digging through old bookmarks on a dusty hard drive I pulled from my closet last night. Hit a link to this site about homemade radio antennas and the whole thing loaded in like 3 seconds flat. The guestbook still works and someone left a comment just last week asking if the builder still does repairs. I sent the guy an email but no word yet, anyone else come across old pages that are still running?

Wait, did you actually get a comment on it last week? That's wild. I used to think old websites like that were just digital ghost towns, nothing more than a dead link or a broken page. But finding one that's still ticking with real people using it, that kind of changes how I look at the whole internet archive thing. It makes you wonder how many other little time capsules are still humming along out there.

Found a late 90s Black Sabbath fan site that still got comments about a month ago, blew my mind. The guy running it actually replied to me within a couple hours, said he still updates it whenever the band does anything new. I think people forget that the internet used to be full of these small personal spaces where one person just kept the lights on because they cared. There's probably thousands of them tucked away on old servers or free web hosts that nobody bothers to kill. It makes me want to go dig through old directories and see what else is still breathing.
