Stumbled into a 1997 Geocities shrine at a thrift store in Austin
Found an old tower PC with a saved 'under construction' page, complete with a MIDI file of 'Axel F' and a guestbook full of 'u rule' comments. Paid 20 bucks just to hear that sound again, anyone else hoard dead tech like this?

And here I thought my box of dead iPods was sad, but at least they never made me listen to Axel F on repeat. Twenty bucks for that MIDI torture is either a steal or a cry for help, and honestly I can't tell which. My thrift store crown goes to you, king of dial up nostalgia.
