Loved reading this. Actually had almost the exact same conversation last week at a local coffee shop with a guy who still updates his Angelfire page from high school. He told me it gets 200 hits a month from people looking for old walkthroughs and fan art. Crazy thing is he's never bothered to learn anything newer and just keeps adding stuff to that one page. Kind of admirable honestly, sticking with what works even if everyone else has moved on. Did you get a peek at his site?

No joke I would have asked for the URL on the spot. A guy still rocking Angelfire in 2025 is basically a digital folk hero at this point. 200 hits a month for walkthroughs and fan art is honestly more than some modern sites I've seen. Bet his page loads in like half a second too since it's probably all basic HTML and a background that looks like it was made in MS Paint.
