That old Web 1.0 tutorial service ate $30 of my money

Signed up for a Geocities-style HTML help site back in 1999, they charged $30 for a premium guide that just told me to view source on other pages. Has anyone else paid for advice that was basically common sense?

Been there. $30 for 'just right click and pick view source' stings worse than buying a used hammer with a cracked handle. Charge it to the game and move on.
