TIL you can find dead 90s fan pages by searching for 'last updated 1998' on Google
I was hunting for old Pokémon fan pages from 1997 to 1999 and got buried in dead links until I started putting exact phrases like 'last updated 1998' and 'best viewed in Netscape' in quotes, and now I've pulled up 30+ still-live Angelfire and Tripod pages with hit counters, MIDI autoplay, and webrings that never got taken down, has anyone else tried this or got a better search string for finding old GeoCities stuff?
