Warning: Staring at a 90s site through a modern browser ruins the whole vibe
I used to think Mosaic and Netscape were just old junk until I loaded up Space Jam on an actual Windows 95 machine at a friend's garage sale. The pixel font and cursor lag made the whole experience feel alive instead of just flat. Has anyone else tried viewing these sites on original hardware instead of emulators?

Yeah, nothing says "authentic 90s" like waiting five minutes for a single JPEG to load.

Totally get what you mean. I dug out my old Compaq from the basement last year and loaded up the original Grolier Encyclopedia CD-ROM. The sound of the CD drive spinning up and the screen flickering with that grey background just felt right, like visiting an old friend. Emulators always feel flat and too clean compared to that hazy CRT glow and the clunky mouse movements.
