The ice tray spill that gave me a perfect abstract landscape on my counter
Last week I was trying to refill one of those silicone ice trays and fumbled it, water went everywhere across my white quartz countertop. I was annoyed at first, grabbed a paper towel to mop it up, but then I stopped. The way the water had pooled and dried into these strange ridges and streaks looked exactly like a mountain range at sunset. The shadows from the overhead light made it look almost 3D, like there were valleys and peaks. I took a picture with my phone before wiping it down, and now it's my lock screen. Has anyone else ever had a kitchen mess turn into something you'd hang on the wall?
