That morning my coffee mug left a ring that looked exactly like a petri dish culture
Last Tuesday I set my mug down on a paper napkin in the break room at work (somewhere in Denver). When I picked it up an hour later, the brown stain had spread out in these perfect little branching patterns, like veins or roots. My coworker Sarah walked by and said it looked like one of those time-lapse videos of bacteria growing. I actually took a photo of it because the rings and splotches were so symmetrical, like someone painted them on purpose. Has anyone else ever had a drink spill or stain that ended up looking way more artistic than it should?
