A customer said my cracked paint looked like a mountain range and now I leave flaws alone

I do those acrylic pour paintings where you tilt the canvas around. Last month I was about to toss one where the paint cracked in a weird way. This lady walks by and says it looks like the Rocky Mountains at sunset. I stopped trying to make perfect smooth pours after that. Now I deliberately let the paint crack or bubble and see what shapes show up. About 4 out of 10 actually end up looking like something recognizable. Has anyone else had a random compliment change how they make their accidental art?

That "4 out of 10" rate means you're losing most of your pieces just chasing a lucky mistake.

Gotta say @blair_davis50, that math tracks. Chasing those rare luck hits usually ends with a pile of junk in the back of the drawer. Better to hold onto what works even if it's boring.
