Debate: Is a cracked windshield art or just bad luck?

Last Tuesday I was driving home from work in Denver when a pebble hit my windshield and left this perfect starburst crack. It looks like a snowflake frozen in the glass, and I honestly thought about keeping it. On one hand, it's just damage from a bad road that I need to fix. On the other hand, the light catches it just right and it's kind of beautiful. What do you think, does an accident make something art or is it just a repair bill waiting to happen?

My buddy Tom had a crack in his windshield the size of a paperclip. He kept saying "it's fine, it's just a little one" for about eight months. Then he hit a pothole and the whole thing spiderwebbed across the passenger side in about two seconds. Cost him $400 to replace because the crack had been there so long the company claimed it was "pre-existing structural weakness." So yeah, it's not a painting, but maybe treat it like one before your wallet gets framed.
