Framed a weird water stain on my ceiling vs. painted over it - what would you do?

So last month I noticed this stain in my bathroom ceiling that looked exactly like a jellyfish. Perfect lines, translucent edges, the whole thing. I had to decide: frame it as accidental art or just paint over it. I went with framing it because my roommate dared me and honestly it's been up for 3 weeks now and guests keep asking where I bought the print. Has anyone else kept a weird stain or crack somewhere instead of fixing it?

Wait, did you at least seal that stain before you put the frame up, though? I’m kinda with you on keeping weird stuff like that because my kitchen has a crack that looks exactly like a lightning bolt and I’ve been calling it my "electric art" for a year now. Just make sure you’re not trapping moisture under there, that’s all I’m saying.

oh absolutely not, that stain is just water damage waiting to turn into mold behind your frame lol. you're basically putting a spotlight on a problem that's gonna get worse and cost way more to fix later. i mean, it's funny for guests but not when that jellyfish starts leaking during a rainstorm and ruins your drywall.
