Left a half-full water glass on my desk for 3 days, the light hit it just right this morning

I usually dump out old water right away but I was so buried in client revisions I forgot about it, and the sun came through the window and cast this perfect little rainbow on my wall for like 20 seconds. Has anyone else caught something boring like a glass or a jar doing something surprisingly beautiful?

Three days without moving it" is basically a personal best for my desk organization skills tbh I'm impressed I didn't knock it over by accident. But hey at least my procrastination paid off with free rainbow decor for 20 seconds.

Three days sitting in the same spot, that's pretty impressive you didn't move it by accident. Did the rainbow land on anything interesting on your wall like a photo or a poster, or was it just a blank spot? That brief little moment makes me wonder how many other small, weirdly beautiful things we miss when we're rushing through the workday.
