My kid called a cracked sidewalk 'a dragon' and it messed me up
We were walking to the park in our town, and he pointed at a huge slab of concrete with a crazy web of cracks in it. He just said 'look, a dragon sleeping'... and for a second, I saw it too. The whole shape, the way the cracks looked like scales. I've been taking photos of 'good' light and 'proper' subjects for years. Now I'm just staring at the ground. Has anyone else had a kid completely wreck their idea of what's worth looking at?

Yeah, my daughter did that with a weird stain on the driveway. I started seeing faces and shapes in every random pattern after that, it totally changes how you look at things. Now I just keep my phone ready for those weird little moments.
