My nephew stared at my driveway crack for a full minute and told me it looked like a whale
Last Saturday my nephew Marcus came over to help me move a couch, and on the way to the garage he just stopped and stared at the concrete. There's a crack in my driveway that's been there about 4 years, spreading out from the corner near the downspout. He tilted his head and told me the whole thing looked like a humpback whale with its tail up. I honestly never saw anything but an ugly crack I keep meaning to patch. Then he pulled out his phone and showed me the photo he took, and sure enough, the main crack curved like a back, and a smaller branch line made the tail. The staining around the edges even looked like the water spout. Now I walk past it every morning and I can't unsee the whale. It's funny how a 9 year old spotted something in my own yard that I looked at for years and never really saw. Has anyone else had a kid point out something in your house or yard that turned into accidental art?
