Pro tip: check your receipt photos before deleting, I almost lost a accidental art gem from Tuesday
I took 47 pics of a puddle on my street in Portland that looked like a perfect horse head, but when I cleaned my camera roll I almost deleted the one shot where a leaf floated in and made the eye, and now I'm wondering if anyone else has a near miss story like this?
The "leaf floated in and made the eye" part got me because that is the whole magic right there. I once snapped a pic of a crack in the sidewalk that looked like a dude screaming, and the shadow from a power line gave it eyebrows. Deleted it during a phone storage freakout and only found out when a friend asked to see it again. I scrolled for 20 minutes and it was gone. Now I favorite the weird ones the second I take them so they never get swept up. Lesson learned the hard way.
