Pro tip: the thrift store in Duluth had two shelves of old paint cans, and the rust rings beat any painting I have seen
I went to a Salvation Army in Duluth last Saturday and found a shelf of old paint cans that had leaked for years, and the dried drip rings on the wood looked like a real artist did them. I tried to copy the same look at home with a brush on a scrap board and it came out like a kindergartener smeared brown on a wall. Has anyone else found something beat up that looked like art, and did you leave it alone or try to bring it home?
