Serious question, the rust stain on my driveway looks exactly like a mountain range and I can't bring myself to clean it
Last Tuesday a pipe under my kitchen sink let go and left a long rust streak across the concrete out back, and by evening it had dried into these sharp peaks and valleys that honestly look like a pen and ink drawing of the Rockies. My neighbor Dale came over to look at the leak and stopped cold, said "don't you dare touch that, that's art," and now I'm stuck staring at it. Has anyone here kept a happy accident like this, or am I about to be the guy with a gross driveway because a stain looks nice?
Man, Dale is right and you should lean into it before it fades. If you want to keep it around without the whole driveway looking like a mess, grab a cheap clear concrete sealer and coat just that patch so rain does not wash the peaks away. A friend of mine did that with a paint splash on his garage floor and it has held up for years.
