Spilled coffee on my counter and it looked like a tiny mountain range

I was rushing this morning and knocked over my mug. The coffee spread across the white laminate in these perfect, dark brown ridges. I grabbed my phone and took a picture before cleaning it up. The photo looks like an aerial shot of some crazy landscape. Has anyone else had a spill turn into something you had to photograph?

My spilled milk just looked like a sad puddle.

I had a spill like that last Tuesday, @jade639. The key is to pour a little salt on it right away. It soaks up the milk so you can just wipe it into the trash. A damp paper towel after that gets any sticky spot. It beats trying to mop up a sad puddle with dry towels for ten minutes.
