The crack in my bathroom sink that turned into a perfect mountain range over 6 months

Honestly I was just pissed about the water damage at first but then I realized the stain and crack pattern looks exactly like the Rockies. Anyone else have a broken thing that turned into accidental decor?

Oh man, I feel this so hard. I had a crack in my kitchen counter that spread over like a year and it ended up looking exactly like the Mississippi River. I was so mad about the water damage at first but now I kind of love it. It's weird how something that's totally broken can become part of the place's character. Glad I'm not the only one who just let it go instead of fixing it.

My Mississippi crack started under a heavy cutting board and grew in a straight line... pretty boring compared to yours. Do you ever worry that letting one broken thing go just makes it easier to ignore the next thing that needs fixing
