Vent: My favorite coffee shop moved their art display behind the counter
I sat at Brew & Bean on Main Street every Tuesday for 2 years just to stare at this cracked blue mug they had on a shelf that looked like a perfect abstract landscape. The new manager moved it behind the register so now I can't see it unless I'm ordering, and when I asked about it he just said 'it's just a broken mug, man.' Has anyone had a favorite accidental art piece ruined by someone who just doesn't get it?

Oh come on, that's not accidental art. That's just a cracked mug they didn't bother throwing away for two years. The manager probably got sick of people staring at broken dishware like it was a museum piece. Honestly, if that mug really meant that much to you, you could have offered to buy it from them. Otherwise it's just a chipped cup on a shelf that the staff probably tripped over every time they restocked. Maybe focus on the actual coffee instead of treating their storage area like a gallery.

Yeah @tarak17 you actually kind of changed my mind here. I used to think it was this deep artistic statement but now I'm just picturing some barista cursing under their breath every time they walked past it.
