Walked through an abandoned mall in Ohio last weekend and the water damage on the ceiling looked like a legit oil painting
I was killing time waiting for a parts order and wandered into the old Northland Mall in Columbus. Place has been dead for like 10 years. The roof has this massive leak stain that spread out over some dropped ceiling tiles and it seriously looked like a stormy seascape from a gallery. Took a picture and my buddy thought I was lying when I said it was just rot and water. Has anyone else stumbled onto something like this in a run down building?

Whoa that's wild! My buddy actually found something similar in an old theater downtown that's been closed for years. He was helping clean it out and there was this mold stain on the back wall that looked exactly like a cloudy sunset. The light hit it through a broken window and he swore it was painted on. Nobody believed him till he showed the picture on his phone. Water damage can make some seriously cool stuff by accident.

Right? Water damage and old paint cracking can make some seriously trippy stuff. There was an abandoned laundromat near my place that had a whole face in one of those huge mildew spots, it was creepy but also looked exactly like a sad clown. People miss out on so much cool stuff just because it's mold or peeling paint, lol.
