A lady at my church potluck said air fryer chicken is just cheating, then asked me for the recipe
I brought air fried chicken thighs to our church potluck in Daytona two Sundays ago, and a woman I've known for years told me right at the table that it doesn't count as real cooking. I just shrugged it off and kept eating. About ten minutes later she came back with her plate, sat next to me, and quietly asked how I got the skin so crispy without a drop of oil. I told her 390 degrees for 22 minutes, flipped once, and she wrote it down on a napkin. Now I'm wondering if anyone else gets that same reaction, the whole "that's not real cooking" thing followed by a recipe request?
