Am I the only one who saw the air fryer station at the Portland airport?
I was grabbing a flight last Tuesday and walked past a new food spot. They had a whole counter with three air fryers lined up, making fries and chicken bites. The worker told me they switched from a deep fryer because it's faster and the kitchen stays cooler. They said they cook a batch of fries in about 12 minutes. It made me think how common these things are getting in real kitchens, not just at home. Has anyone else seen air fryers being used in a restaurant or airport like that?
