I microwaved my chicken wings for 8 years before anyone told me, and now I need to know who is right
My buddy Dale watched me pull rubbery wings out of the microwave at his place in Reno and just stared at me, then said the air fryer does the same job in 20 minutes without the sad texture. Half of me thinks he is right, but the other half says microwaving is faster and the sauce hides everything anyway. So which camp are you in, do you pre cook wings in the microwave to save time or go straight into the basket? And does anyone actually notice a difference after the sauce goes on?
Eight years is a long time to eat sad wings, so you have my sympathy for that alone. Dale is right though, because the microwave steams them from the inside and that rubbery thing never really goes away once sauce is on it. Give the air fryer a real shot for a couple weeks and you will taste the difference.
