My neighbor swore frozen fries needed a pre-soak in hot water before the air fryer.

She said it would make them crispier, but mine just turned out soggy and weird. I think the extra moisture from the soak messed it up. Has anyone else heard this tip or should I just skip it?

Not really. The argument fell apart when you look at the facts. She was right from the start.
