Serious question, my air fryer basket flew into the sink mid shake at 390 degrees
Went to shake the fries last Tuesday and the whole basket popped off the handle into a full sink of soapy water. Anyone got a fryer that doesn't try to launch itself across the kitchen?

Was the basket actually locked in when this happened, or did you just have it sitting loose on the handle? Some of those cheaper models have a latch that looks engaged but isn't, and 390 degrees plus a good shake is enough to pop it right off. How full was the basket too, because an overloaded one puts way more weight on that connection point. Trying to figure out if this is a design flaw or just user error before I tell you what to buy.
