That $50 silicone liner set went straight into the trash after 3 uses
I saw everyone raving about reusable silicone baskets for air fryers, so I bought a set of two for about $50 online. First use, the liner warped and blocked the hot air circulation, so my chicken came out pale and soggy on top. Second try, I followed the instructions to preheat it and the thing still slid around, making a mess. By the third use, the bottom had that weird sticky film that won't wash off no matter what. I ended up tossing both liners and going back to plain parchment paper that costs a couple bucks for a roll. Has anyone actually found a reusable liner that works without ruining the crispiness, or is this all just marketing hype?

Ugh, that sucks, silicone sounded like such a good idea too. I mean, I tried those little silicone muffin cups once and they just folded over and made this weird burnt rubber smell, so I feel your pain. Maybe it's just me, but I've found that just spraying the basket with a little oil and risking the cleanup beats fighting with a liner that doesn't stay put.
