Vent: Tried making frozen mozzarella sticks and they turned into a cheese volcano

Honestly, I thought I could just toss them in the air fryer like the bag says. Well, I put 8 sticks in at 380 degrees and half of them burst open and leaked cheese all over the bottom. Ngl, the smoke alarm went off and my kitchen smelled like burnt milk for two hours. I learned you gotta do like 5 max and check them at 4 minutes instead of 6. Anyone else have a snack turn into a mess in their air fryer?

I did the exact same thing with a bag of mini egg rolls last week. Put 10 in the air fryer at 375 and three of them exploded, filling the whole thing with oil and burnt filling. Had to take the whole basket apart and soak it in the sink.
