Bought a $60 manual coffee grinder that basically made dust

I picked up this hand crank grinder from a flea market thinking it would give me that old school coffee experience, but after 3 tries the beans came out more like powder than grounds. My French press ended up with sludge floating in it and I had to dump the whole thing. Anyone know a decent analog grinder that actually works without costing a fortune?

Oh come on, the dust is actually perfect for Turkish coffee or espresso (if you've got the patience). Maybe your French press just isn't the right tool for that grind level.
