Chose paper planner over my phone for lesson planning this semester

I switched to a simple weekly paper planner for my 8th grade history class back in September and it actually helped me stop checking grades during class, but I'm worried about losing all my notes - has anyone else made the switch and found a good system for not losing the book?

Aw man, I totally get where @webb.christopher is coming from but I'd argue the exact opposite here. For me the physical act of writing stuff down in a planner actually helps me remember the lesson flow way better than tapping on a screen ever did. Plus I just keep my planner in the same spot on my desk every single day and it hasn't gone missing once, you just gotta build that habit like charging your phone.

Oh man, I gotta disagree a little here. I tried the paper planner thing for like two weeks and nearly threw it out a window when I left it on the kitchen table. Digital stuff auto backs up so you never have that panic moment of "where did I write that detention slip down." Honestly, just put your phone on Do Not Disturb during class and hide the grade app in a folder on page two. Way less stress than hunting down a lost notebook.
