My habit of mailing birthday cards gets called pointless

Ngl, seeing someone's smile when they open it beats a notification any day.

That bit about the notification is fair, but a card you can hold onto just hits different.

Yeah that "hits different" thing is so true. It's like how a real book feels compared to an ebook. We're losing that physical layer to everything and it does matter.
