My neighbor's comment about my mail sorting changed everything
She saw me stacking envelopes by hand and said 'you're making more work for yourself, sort by date first then alphabetize.' Tried it with my 47 bills and letters last Tuesday and cut my time in half. Has anyone else gotten a simple tweak from someone that made their whole system click?

Wait wait wait - you had 47 bills and letters? Who gets 47 pieces of mail in one week? That's like a whole post office's worth of junk mail and I'm genuinely impressed you sorted any of it by hand at all.
