Just standing there staring at a blank screen" - man, that mental image is rough. I'd probably just start laughing out of frustration if that happened to me. I'm definitely guilty of trusting my phone way too much for notes during busy days on job sites too. It's crazy how something so simple can just completely betray you like that. Maybe I should finally learn from stories like this before it happens to me.

I used to be the same way honestly, thought my phone was good enough for everything. Then I had a job estimate where I lost all my notes because the app crashed and I hadn't backed anything up. Just standing there staring at a blank screen, had no clue what I wrote down. Now I always keep a little notebook in my truck for important stuff, digital is nice until it isn't.
