Saw something weird at the post office yesterday
Went to mail a package in my small town near Madison. Noticed the old cork bulletin board near the counter. Covered in hand written notes and typed flyers, all overlapping each other. One notice from three months ago about a lost dog was still up. Made me wonder if anyone checks these boards anymore or if they're just clutter.

Man oh man that bulletin board thing hits close to home! I actually taped a flyer about my missing cat on one of those boards at the grocery store a few years back. Didn't hear a peep for two weeks, figured it was a lost cause. Then out of the blue some old lady called me cause she recognized my cat from the faded, rain spotted flyer that was still up. She said she kept seeing the cat around her shed for weeks but didn't know who to call till she saw my note. People do check those things, I guess, just not every day.
