Took me 3 hours to fix a broken zipper on my kid's backpack
I spent almost 3 hours trying to fix a stuck zipper on my 7 year old's backpack with just a pair of pliers and a candle. Turns out rubbing a bar of soap on the teeth did the trick in under a minute. Anyone else got a weird non-digital fix that saved you a ton of time?

I had the SAME problem last year with my daughter's favorite unicorn backpack and a pencil was my saving grace. Just slid the tip along the zipper track to realign the teeth and it worked perfectly. So much faster than digging out the sewing kit and way cheaper than a new bag.

Question whether it's really that big of a deal. It took me less time to just buy a new one at Walmart.
