Watched 3 guys at a truck stop in Amarillo try to start a dead rig with a phone app, I just used a $12 jumper cable
Last week I pulled into the TA off I-40 and saw three younger drivers huddled around a rig that wouldn't crank. They were passing a phone around, trying to find some app to call for a jump or maybe check a code, I couldn't tell. I walked over with my old cables and had them hooked up to my truck in under a minute, and it fired right up. One of them asked me what app I used and I just pointed at the cables. It seems like people forget the simple fix that costs almost nothing and always works. Has anyone else seen drivers stuck because they skipped the basic tool for a phone?
