A guy at the camera swap said film is 'dead' while holding a $900 Pentax
I was at the Portland camera swap meet on Sunday and this older guy in a denim jacket told me nobody shoots film anymore, right as he handed over cash for a Pentax 67. I just nodded and kept walking because I had a roll of Portra 400 in my bag that I shot at my niece's birthday. The thing is, the room was packed, maybe 60 people, all digging through bins of old lenses. I guess I'm wondering if anyone else gets told film is dead while standing in a room full of people buying it?
