A roll of film that sat in my camera for almost a year

I dug out my old Pentax K1000 last spring and shot a few frames at a friend's barbecue. Then I just... forgot about it. Found it in my coat pocket last week and got it developed. The first half was the party, but the last few shots were from a random Tuesday in December, a foggy morning walk I had completely forgotten. Seeing those two moments, months apart, on the same strip of Kodak Gold 200 felt like finding a time capsule I didn't know I made. It's a weird little diary. Does anyone else have a camera they use like that, just picking it up every now and then?

Okay but it's just some old pictures, right? Not exactly a lost Shakespeare play. My phone does the same thing when it randomly shows me photos from last year. Still, kinda funny to find your own boring Tuesday mixed in with a party.

Ever have that feeling, @noah_palmer42, where a random photo makes you remember a whole day you'd forgotten? It's not about the picture being great, it's about the memory it unlocks. That's the real surprise for me.
