Forty five minutes to fix a stuck film advance, five months to find out why
I shot a whole roll in Prague last spring only to realize the advance lever was jamming on the rewind side, and it took me five months of cleaning, shaking, and swapping bodies before I noticed the local repair guy had put a tiny spacer in the wrong slot, so has anyone else had a camera issue where the fix was way simpler than the search?

Honestly the real lesson here is that sometimes the simplest little part can cause the biggest headache. I've had a shutter stick for weeks and it was just a dried drop of grease on the wrong gear. People always blame the big stuff first, but it's usually the tiny dumb thing you'd never think to check.
