Found a 1976 pharmacy receipt tucked in my old camera case

Last month I was cleaning out a camera bag I've had since high school and found a receipt from a drugstore in Dayton, Ohio dated August 14, 1976, right next to a roll of undeveloped Kodak Tri-X. Turns out the previous owner of the bag had shot a whole family picnic that never got processed, and the drugstore's address on the receipt led me to a local historical society with a scanner. Has anyone else uncovered old film or receipts in secondhand gear that sent them down a research rabbit hole?
