Found a roll of film I shot at the county fair three years ago, and the colors are wild

I was cleaning out a drawer and found a roll of Tri-X 400 from the 2021 county fair. I had forgotten all about it. When I got it developed last week, the colors from the Ferris wheel lights at night were all blown out and grainy, but in a cool way. It captured that weird, lonely feeling of the fairgrounds after most people had gone home. I think the heat that night messed with the film. Does anyone else have photos where a 'mistake' actually made the shot better?

Oh man, totally. I left a disposable camera in my glove box for a whole summer once. When I finally got the pictures, they were all washed out and weirdly foggy from the heat. But there was one of my friend at a cookout that looked like a ghost was handing him a hot dog. It's the best picture I have of him. That weird film damage gave it a mood I could never plan for.

My 2003 glove box melted a whole roll, @oliver242. Total loss.
