My uncle told me to stop shooting at box speed and I argued for months
He handed me a roll of Portra 400 and said shoot it at 200, I thought he was nuts. Finally tried it on a cloudy Saturday at Lake Tahoe and the negatives came back with so much more shadow detail I felt like an idiot for not listening sooner. Anyone else have a relative who actually knew what they were talking about?
