Roll of 36 shots from my sister's wedding came back with 11 frames of just shoes and tablecloths
I shot the whole thing on my dad's old Pentax back in June at the reception hall in Mesa, and I was so proud of myself for slowing down and metering every shot. Got the envelope back last week and 11 of the 36 frames are nothing but people's shoes under tables and a stack of folded napkins. Turns out I was so worried about getting the exposure right that I never actually looked up at what was happening. My sister laughed it off but I could tell she was a little let down there is no picture of her and grandma dancing. The lab guy said my negs were fine, so it is all me. How do you all handle shooting a one-time event when you only get 36 chances, do you burn through a second roll just to be safe?
