Shot 36 exposures at f/16 on a beach trip and only 4 came out, my meter was the problem
Spent a week in San Diego shooting into the sun because I trusted the needle on my old Pentax instead of checking it against a phone app. Turns out the meter was reading two stops off the whole trip and I blamed my lab for bad scans. Anyone else get burned trusting an old in camera meter instead of just metering by eye?
