The roll that nearly ended up in the trash

I shot a whole roll of Portra 400 at my niece's wedding last Saturday. When I got the negatives back, every single frame had this weird blue cast - turns out I left the camera in the car for two hours before shooting. Has anyone else ruined a day's worth of photos because of temperature shock?

My uncle's 4th of July barbecue last year had fifteen people arguing about politics within the first hour, so I'd actually call skipping most family gatherings a win. The awkward silences and passive-aggressive comments about my job just aren't worth the "bonding time" people pretend happens. Spending holidays with friends who actually laugh at my jokes sounds way better than sitting through another lecture about settling down.
