A random reddit comment changed how I watch fight scenes

Saw someone in a thread about sakuga saying they mute the audio and focus on the animation flow to really see what's good. Tried it during a rewatch of that Sword of the Stranger final fight last night and honestly it hit different. I've been watching anime for like 12 years and never thought to strip the sound out to judge the choreography. Now I'm going back through my favorite shonen battles with the volume off just to see which ones actually hold up. Anyone else do this or have a weird trick for spotting well animated sequences?
