Everybody keeps calling filler arcs a waste of time...

Filler arcs are like the cheap pizza at a party. Nobody wants it, but you eat it anyway because you're there. My life is basically a filler arc with extra grime and not enough plot progression.

Cheap pizza at a party is still pizza though, so I guess that's the upside. My life is more like the crust ends nobody touches, just sitting there getting cold and stale. The side quests in my day are things like realizing I'm out of milk when I already poured the cereal. Then there's the main quest that got abandoned three seasons ago and never wrapped up. Sometimes I wonder if the writers even remember I exist.
